Yodel: Delivering Books for World Book Night

Each year, Yodel plays a key part in World Book Night by delivering hundreds of thousands of books to over 2,000 bookshops, libraries, and other collection points across the UK.

World Book Night was launched in 2011 by The Reading Agency to spread a love of books. The annual nationwide event takes place on Shakespeare’s birthday. Yodel delivers the books to colleges, schools, book shops, local libraries, homeless shelters, and other institutions throughout the UK and Ireland for the volunteers to distribute. Since its launch, organiser The Reading Agency (with the help of 46,000 volunteers) has provided books to more than 2 million people.
