How do OOH Pod Locker services work?
How do I choose to have my parcel delivered to a locker?
It’s really easy to choose to have your parcel delivered to a locker. Head to our Store Locator here and enter your postcode and you can see if there is a locker nearby that you can select. Currently, we only offer deliveries to a locker in Northern Ireland.
What will happen if I choose to have my parcel delivered to a locker?
If you choose to have your parcel delivered to a locker at your retailer’s checkout then you still receive the same great experience that you would normally have if you had chosen to deliver your parcel to a Yodel Store. You will be sent a collection bar code once your parcel is ready to collect. Simply take this to your chosen locker, scan the barcode and collect.
How long do I have to collect my parcel from an OOH Pod locker?
Your parcel will be available to collect from your selected locker location for 10 days after we have contacted you to say it has been delivered. If you don’t collect your parcel within 10 days then it will be returned to your retailer. Don’t worry, we will contact you when your parcel has arrived and will send out reminders that your parcel is ready to be collected at a time that suits you.
My parcel wasn’t delivered to the locker?
There are a few different reasons why your parcel wasn’t delivered to a parcel locker:
- The locker was full – sometimes there might not be a locker available for our driver to deliver your parcel. If this is the case, then the driver will deliver your parcel to the closest Yodel Store. Check your emails or your text messages, or go into the Yodel app Yodel Parcel Tracker app for more information on where your parcel has been delivered to.
- Your parcel was too heavy or too large for delivery. There are a limited number of lockers suitable for larger parcels. If our driver is unable to deliver your parcel to your chosen locker due to its size, it will be delivered to the nearest Yodel Store, where possible. Check your emails or your text messages, or go into the Yodel Parcel Tracker app for more information on where your parcel has been delivered to.
I haven’t received my collection barcode
You will receive your collection barcode via email and SMS and in The Yodel app. You can then scan your barcode at the locker to collect your parcel.
I closed the door by mistake before I picked up my parcel, what should I do?
If the door was closed before you managed to pick up your parcel simply click “Re-Open” on the screen. The on-screen display will show you which door will open for you to collect your parcel.
I didn’t collect my parcel in time, what will happen to my parcel?
If you weren’t able to collect your parcel within 10 days, we will collect your parcel and return it to your retailer. We will send you reminder emails or push notifications if you have downloaded The Yodel app during the 10 days you have to collect your parcel.
