Yodel and The Cornish Company Forge Partnership to Deliver Sweet and Savoury Delights Nationwide
Yodel has announced a 2-year partnership with The Cornish Company, following a strong year of growth for the parcel carrier.
The partnership will see Yodel help the business on its current trajectory as one of the fastest growing e-commerce companies in the UK by providing a quality delivery service to its customers.
Yodel is well positioned to support with specialist food items, having over ten years of experience in delivering a wide range of specialist items including fresh food, pet food, alcohol and flowers. Yodel has also continued to make investment in its infrastructure with a £14m investment in its fleet last year and opening a new depot in Huyton, Merseyside earlier this year.
The Cornish Company sells a wide variety of traditional Cornish food, cream teas and drinks. Its mission is to bring the Cornish community together by celebrating and championing local artisan food & drink producers. It aims to spread the Cornish message across the U.K. and eventually around the world. Its founders are two young entrepreneurs from the Cornwall area that both have a passion for local cuisine.
Yodel has already announced a number of new client wins and renewals this year, most recently bolstering existing long term partnerships with new contracts. This follows a strong year of growth for Yodel with full-year volumes up 3%, and revenues up 3.4% in FY23.
