Yodel announces network operations director appointment
UK independent parcel carrier Yodel has appointed industry expert, Carl Moore, as its new network operations director. Carl will be responsible for overseeing Yodel’s nationwide network of customer delivery depots and will report into Yodel’s chief operating officer, Adrian Harris.
Carl brings extensive knowledge and experience of the logistics sector, having spent over 30 years’ in the industry, including 15 years in operations director roles at UPS, UK Mail and ANC Express. He joins Yodel from FedEx/TNT, where he was executive advisor for network strategy.
Having started his career aged 18 as a van driver, Carl quickly progressed to depot manager. He is passionate about people and understands the industry from both the frontline and the board room perspective, making him perfectly placed to ensure that the customer is at the heart of Yodel’s strategy and operation.

A keen rugby and MotoGP fan, Carl is married with three children and lives in Warwickshire. He is based at Yodel’s Hatfield headquarters and Lichfield customer delivery depot, but prides himself on making a point of visiting every site in the network at least four times a year.
