Yodel celebrates success at national technology awards

UK parcel carrier receives top honours for technology innovation at Real IT Awards and National Tech Awards

 

Independent parcel carrier Yodel has been recognised for its investment and excellence in technology innovation at two industry leading awards, the National Tech Awards and the Real IT Awards. Both ceremonies took place in London on Thursday 17^th of May, where Yodel was awarded the ‘Infrastructure as an Enabler’ accolade at the Real IT Awards and later awarded the ‘Cloud Innovation of the Year’ honour at the National Tech Awards.  

Yodel received widespread recognition at both award ceremonies for its innovative Halo Cloud Infrastructure Platform. The new platform allows Yodel to react quickly to customer or internal queries and has resulted in a 92% reduction in Yodel’s IT service outages and 61% improvement in screen response times. As a result of the changes implemented by the HALO Platform, Yodel drivers and support staff are able to access services and systems more quickly and efficiently, allowing the business to be more agile in an increasingly digital world.

Yodel celebrated further success at the Real IT Awards, as it came runner up in the ‘Turning Data into Insights’ and ‘Cloud Projects’ categories, as well as runner up in the ‘Technology Partnership of the Year’ for its work with independent technology solutions company SCC.
