Yodel's employee magazine wins internal communications award
Your Call, the employee magazine for Yodel, the UK’s leading parcel delivery company, has picked up the class winner in the newsletter category at the Institute of Internal Communications’ North Region Awards. The award was announced at a presentation dinner at the Leeds Marriott Hotel on Thursday (29 September).
Launched in December 2010, Your Call was designed for Yodel by Pages Creative to help create a sense of unity in a new company made up of two businesses, following the acquisition of DHL Domestic by Home Delivery Network. Yodel is formed by a national network of sort centres and service centres, so it was important for the magazine to create a sense of community and shared values across all employees.

The majority of the writing for Your Call is done in-house, while the photography is a mix of commissioned work and supplied pictures, many of which were submitted by interviewees.
The Institute of Internal Communications' Awards is the biggest of its kind in Europe. Your Call also won an Award of Excellence in the IoIC national awards in June 2011.
